MUNDAY, June 29 - Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Thursday in the Rhineland community north of Munday for Killian George Homer, 73. He died Monday afternoon while en route to a doctor. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Father Fabian Diersing, pastor, of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Rhineland, will conduct the funeral in the church. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery will be directed by McCauley Funeral Home of Munday. Mr. Homer was born July 5, 1882, in Germany and came to this country in 1900, settling in the Rhineland community. He was married Feb. 9, 1909, to Mary Morath. Survivors are his wife; four sons, K.W. Homer of San Diego, Calif., Al Homer of Groom, Hub Homer of Hereford, and Phil Homer of Munday; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Torres of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. P.J. Hall of Akron, Colo., Sister Mary Geraldine of Jonesboro, Ark.; one brother, John Homer of Groom; a half brother, Louis Homer of Munday; one sister, Sister Catherine of Galveston; and 19 grandchildren.
