Bio

Hubert was born in Rouchovany, Moravia, the son of Matej "Michael" and Katerina (Kasparek) Hain. He married Klara Hottovy in 1878. Their first two daughters, Marie and Frantisek came to America in March 1894 with Hubert's brother, Alexander Hain. In October of the same year, Hubert and Klara followed with their remaining six children. Their two youngest daughters were born in the U.S.
