Dovie M. Lowden, age 94, of Bastrop died Monday, August 13, 2012. She was born December 9, 1917 in Cedar Creek, TX to Albert and Susie McAfee. She was employed for a number of years at Fox's Department Store in Bastrop. She is survived by: a son, Maurice Lowden and wife Glenrose; a daughter, Judy Russell and husband Mike; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the funeral home with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Bastrop. (Providence Funeral Home)
