Bio

From the St. Paul Phonograph, June 8, 1883, page 8, transcribed by Linda Berney: DIED - June 3rd, 1883, Mr. James Holecek, aged 33. Mr. Holecek was one of the first Bohemian settlers, coming to this county in 1875. He was well respected by all who knew him. He leaves a large family of small children to mourn his loss. He was buried at the Warsaw Catholic cemetery, Tuesday, June 5th.
