Miller, 83, of ..., died Thursday, July 17 at a local rest home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gollaher Chapel at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Vernon Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be ...at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home... Mr. Miller was born Oct. 28, 1902, at Dodge to James and Annastasia Misek Miller. He received his education and grew to manhood in Dodge County. He married Gladys Wilkie on Jan. 18, 1920, at St. Paul. They moved to Grand Island, and he was a self-employed carpet and linoleum contractor. The couple moved to California in 1945. Mrs. Miller died in 1965. Then he returned to Grand Island to make his home. He married Nellie Bridges on Dec. 23, 1967 at St. Paul. They have lived in Grand Island since that time. He was a member of the Methodist church at St. Paul, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #378, the Platt-Deutsche and the American Association of Retired Persons. Survivors include his wife, Nellie of Grand Island; one son, Raymond E. Miller of Grand Island; a step-son, Roger Taylor of Grand Island; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Tibbadue of Hemmett, Mrs. Lil Masbach of St. Paul and Mrs. Mildred Rock of Omaha.
