Janette Lane Carney, 75, of Richland Hills died Sunday, October 11, 2009, at Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Fort Worth. Janette was born December 15, 1933 in Hill County the daughter of J. C. and Ann Williams Rose. Janette loved life and people very much. She was a mom to all and she loved her family very much. She never met a stranger. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband, J. K. Lane, Jr.; second husband, Jerry Calvin Carney; and two sisters, Shirley Reid and Annette Little. Survivors include her children, Kirby Lane of Joshua, Jennifer Gann and husband, Todd, of Richland Hills, Kay Heinz and husband, Paul, of Oklahoma, David Carney and wife, Debbie, of Burleson, Michael Carney, of Alabama, and Cindy Harper of Arlington; sister, Donna Hayes and husband, Billy, of Hillsboro; two brothers-in-law, Billy Little and Claude Reid and wife, Brenda, all of Hillsboro; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
