OH 5 Oct 1978 p10 [Note: married ?; married second Nadine Shipman 6 Jun 1915 - 29 Jul 1992 married 18 Jul 1932 Forrest Lee Wade; married 2nd Mike Workman 1909 - 13 May 1960] OZARK - Services for Frank W. Rose, 62, rural Sparta, was at 2 p.m. Monday in Harris Chapel with the Revs. James Applegate and Dale Roller officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery. Mr. Rose died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in his home southwest of Sparta, apparently after suffering a heart attack. He was a native of Clarks, Neb. where he had lived most of his life. He moved to the Springfield area in 1961. He was a farmer and a rancher, raising show horses. Survivors include his wife, Nadine; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Hanson, Clear Lake, Iowa; Mrs. Lois Sloan, Marion, Iowa; Mrs. Virginia Nelson, Orlando, Fla.; and Mrs. Elaine Gold, Billings; a son, Walter, Aurora; three stepsons, John Wade, Portland, Ore., Michael Workman, Ozark and James Workman, Chadwick; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Randell, Independence, Iowa, Mrs. Doris Travis, Dike, Iowa, and Mrs. Donna Martins, St. Olal, Iowa and 12 grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren.
