Bio

Phyllis Kay Weddle, 31, of Colorado City died 10 p.m. Saturday while en route to the Root Memorial Hospital. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital by Justice of the Peace Mary Lee Moore. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Hatler, pastor of Oak Street Baptist Church, Officiating. Burial was in the Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Born April 21, 1944, in Henderson, Nevada, Miss. Weddle had lived in Colorado City for about a year. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Weddle of Colorado City; a sister, Mrs. Doloris Wallwork of Evanston, Wyoming; and a brother Jimmy of San Antonio. Contributor: Beth (46910696)
