Bio
NORMAN EWALD TOFTE, 83, of Houston went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, June 9, 2008. He was born July 3, 1924 in Houston to Charles and Frieda Tofte. Norman served in the Army during WWII and graduated from the University of Houston. He was a life long member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Norman is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50+ years Amelia Tofte, one daughter Sharon Kay Tofte. Norman is survived by his son Wesley Tofte, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Forest Park Lawndale. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials to First Evangelical Lutheran Church memorial fund.
