Woodland Daily Democrat (Woodland, California) Sat. April 11, 1936 John Ivory Dies In Bay City John Ivory, Alturas stockman who was well known in Woodland, died Friday in San Francisco after suffering internal injuries earlier in the week when kicked by a mule. He was the brother of Tom Ivory, now a patient at the Woodland Clinic hospital and Mrs. Kathleen Huffman, former night supervisor at the local hospital. Mr. Ivory was rushed to San Francisco shortly after the accident took place, and for a time he showed signs of recovering. His condition grew worse Friday morning. He was not brought to Woodland for treatment for fear his condition might worry his brother. Mr. Ivory, an uncle of Perry Ivory, nationally known cowboy, had made numerous visits to Woodland during the last few years. He had suffered injuries before while working with horses. No details of the funeral have been learned by local friends.______________________________
