Bio
Marie E. Foutz, of Flowell, Utah died Sept. 11, 2004 in St. George, Utah with her family by her side. She was born June 6, 1917 to Fred and Rachael Morford in Lehi, Utah. She was later raised by William Meacham. She married Robert Foutz on Feb. 14, 1957 in Ely, Nevada. Robert passed away Nov. 1, 1991. Marie worked as a waitress in Salt Lake City and as an inspector in several sewing plants in Millard County. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Marie is survived by her children, Mary Beebe, West Jordan, Glen Foutz West Jordan; Gary (Gloria) Barrett of Seattle, WA; Kelven Foutz of Las Vegas, NV; Judy (Jerry) Nelson, Covina, CA; Colleen Halsey of St. George; Marvin Halsey, Fillmore; sisters, Alene Meacham of Lehi; LaPreal Morford, Pleasant Grove; 23 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; several brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Kenneth Beebe; daughter-in-law, Donna Foutz; grandsons, Jesse Reed and Casey Thompson; granddaughter, Rhonda Thompson. Funeral services held Friday, September 17, 2004 at the Flowell, Utah LDS Ward Chapel, Interment in the Fillmore Cemetery. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 9/15/2004.
