Bio
Louella Eades, 56, of 1311 1/2 Cooley, died at High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo at 6:45 p.m. Sunday. Miss Eades had been a resident of Borger for the past 21 years. She was a member of the Phillips First Baptist Church and served as church secretary. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Phillips First Baptist Church with the Rev. Shad Rue, pastor of the Paramount Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Walter Goodnight, pastor of the Phillips First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Snyder (Texas) Cemetery. Miss Eades is survived by nine brothers, Arthur of San Angelo; Sheridan of Denton; W.D. of Rotan; Carl of Mancos, Colo.; Franklin of Hobbs, N.M.; Cecil, Doyle , Verdie and Ralph all of Snyder; and a sister, Mrs. Leona Davidson of Denton. Services will be under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors. Graveside services were held at 5 p.m. today in the Snyder cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors. She had lived in Borger for 21 years. Miss Eades was a member of the First Baptist Church of Phillips and worked there as church secretary. Miss Eades is survived by nine brothers and a sister. Pallbearers were Harold Davis, Clytee Armstrong, Warren Reed, Burton Williams, Jerry Arrington and Lyle Kennedy.
