Grant, Gregory G. -- Private - May 6, 1862. Roll dated August 31, 1864, last on file, shows him absent, sick in hospital. Pension records show he was wounded in Virginia October 1864, and sent to Lynchburg, Virginia, hospital. (Born near Griffin, Georgia July 4, 1841.) 44th Georgia Infantry Regiment Company G Fayette County "Huie Guards" (Originally Fayette Infantry). mk
