Bio

STREET, Jessie Clarence, 87, Ripley, died on the morning of August 6, 1983, at his home. He was a native of Tippah County, a retired grocer and a Methodist. Services were held Sunday, at 3 pm in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Weirs Chapel Cemetery. Bro Jack Nabors officiated. Suvivors include only nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Homer Waldon, Joe Smith, Bill Pitner, Joe Mitch McElwain, Dave Bennett and Billy Dees. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Kelly Street, whom he married June 3, 1924. They had no children.
