Morrissey, 95, of Brainard, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at St. Joseph's Villa in David City. Services are 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard, with the Rev. Matthew Eickhoff officiating. Burial is at New Holy Trinity Cemetery in Brainard. Visitation is from 1:30-5 p.m. Friday at Holesovsky Mortuary in Brainard, and after 6 p.m. Friday at the church, with a 7 p.m. rosary. Mrs. Morrissey was born Oct. 11, 1908, to John and Anna (Paseka) Stuchlik. She married Edward J. Morrissey Sept. 5, 1928, in Wahoo. She lived in the Brainard area since 1930. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the church and charter member of the Holy Trinity Guild. She enjoyed quilting and embroidering. Survivors include one son, Eugene (Arlene) Morrissey of Lincoln; one daughter, Sharon (Pat) Carr of New York, N.Y.; one brother, John (Frances) Stuchlik of Aurora; ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985; one son, LeRoy Morrissey; and two brothers, Edward and Victor Stuchlik.
