The Schuyler Sun, Tursday, 8 December 1938 Mrs. Frank Wesley, 39, died suddenly at the family residence in Linwood Monday afternoon at 5:45. Death was due to an embolism. Mrs. Wesley and daughter, Carolyn Ann, born at the Kolouch hospital Saturday, November 26, had gone to their home Friday. She was in good health until stricken with the embolism. Mrs. Wesley, nee Miss Hannah Muller, was born in Germany, August 31, 1899. When a small girl she came to the United States with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Muller, now residents of David City. After graduating from the David City high school, she studied at the Peru state normal and then at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Her teaching experience was had in the rural schools of Butler county, in the Silver Creek schools two years and in the Linwood schools three years. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley were married in David City, September 15, 1928 and made their home in Linwood since that time. Mrs. Wesley held membership in the Schuyler Eastern Star chapter, the David City Royal Neighbor lodge and the Linwood Congregational church. Surviving are the husband, three children, Shirley, 10, Jimmy, 4, and Carolyn Ann, 10 days old, the parents, three brothers, Gus of Oceanic, Calif., Otto of Cleveland, Ohio, and Herman Jr., of Columbus, and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Riddle of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Linwood Congreagional church, Rev. William Richards of David City officiating. Pall bearers will be Karl Zuelow, Adolph Pokorny, both of Schuyler, Alf Sweeney of Rising City, Alfred Tichacek, Joseph Tichacek and F. F. Mundil, all of Linwood. Interment will be made in the linwood Hill cemetery. The Schuyler Eastern Star chapter will conduct the burial service. Linwood News Notes, Thursday, December 8, 1938 The ladies' kensington met Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Joseph A. Tichacek as hostess. Mrs. Frank Wesley passed away suddenly at her home Monday evening. She and the baby came home from the Kolouch hospital in Schuyler last Friday and was apparently getting along well. The baby is doing nicely.
