Tinney, 70, of 811 Maple St., Nampa, who died Monday, Dec. 20, 1982, in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Chandler, Jr. of the Church of the Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. She was born June 9, 1912 at Powell, Wyo. At an early age, she moved with her family to Nebraska where she was reared and educated. At age 18 she moved to Montana. She married Charles E. Tinney on Dec. 31, 1935 at Kalispell, Mont. In 1942 they moved to Bremerton, Wash. Following WWII, they returned to Montana. In 1962 they returned to Bremerton, where they made their home until 1973. They moved to Nampa in 1973. Surviving are her husband of Nampa; one son, David Tinney of Nampa; one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Patricia) Weech of Nampa; three brothers, Ivan Johnson of Kalispell, Mont., and Clebourne and Clifford Johnson, both of Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Zella Danielson of Pablo, Mont. and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother. The family suggests memorials to the Mercy Medical Center Hospice Program, 1512 12th Ave. Road, Nampa, 83651, or flowers may be sent.
