She resided at 34 East 500 North in Lehi, Utah at the time of her death. She was born in Lehi, Utah to Lott Erastus and Fern Jennette Brown Russon on July 30, 1915. She was the oldest of nine children. Ivy graduated from Lehi High School and attended Brigham Young University. She and her sister Eloise were a popular singing group performing across several western states. They entertained for church and civic functions, in theatres, at C.C.C. Ivy spent a lifetime of service in the LDS Church. Highlights included being an ordinance worker in the Provo Temple. The greatest time in her life was the 60 years she spent as the trusted companion to Dean as he served in Bishoprics, stake callings including Stake President, the Missionary Training Center Presidency and as Mission President in the Switzerland Zurich Mission. Ivy's quick wit and charm kept friends close. She created a stable, happy home where faith was taught and practiced. Her kindness and devotion to family will always be cherished.
