Bio

Geneva Cotton, the daughter of George and Gertrude Wright, was born Oct. 14, 1905 at Huntsville, IL. She moved to Brandon, IA with her parents during her youth. She was united in marriage to R. L. Cotton, Oct. 4, 1927. Their home was blessed with two children: Arnold and Irene. Her active life was spent on a farm near Parker, SD, with her husband. She was called to her eternal home Nov. 9, 1968. Her parents and three brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, R. L. Cotton; one son, Arnold of Parker; one daughter, Irene (Mrs. Dale Jorgensen) of Viborg; 9 grandchildren, two brothers, Cecil of Jesup, IA and Roscoe of Waterloo, IA, and one sister Gladys of Jesup, IA.
