J.C. Hopkins Jr., 66, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 in Cleveland, Texas. J.C. was born Friday, February 1, 1946, in Dayton, Texas to Joe and Eula Mae (Gilley) Hopkins both of whom have preceded him in death. J.C. was also preceded in death by his brother, Leslie Wayne "Peanut" Hopkins and his sister, Theresa Bernice Flores. Left to cherish his memory is his loving Spouse of 44 years Marla Hopkins of Cleveland, Texas; sons, J.C. Hopkins III and wife Jennifer of Splendora, TX, Robert Wayne Hopkins and wife Shanna Odom of Tarkington, TX, Randy Hopkins and wife Mylissa of Spring, TX; brothers - Bucky Hopkins and wife Blanche, Bill Hopkins and wife Dianne, Skeeter Hopkins, Billy Ray Hopkins, Tommy Hopkins, Charlie Hopkins; sisters, Elsie May, Marsha Flores; grandchildren, Tod, Amanda, Morgan, James, John, Matthew, Shalyn, Kaden, Kaytlen and Alexander Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Landon, Isaiah, Isabella; his special friend - Little Marla . A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington, Texas. Officiating, Reverend Monty Odom.
