James Perry McClellan of McKinney, Texas passed away March 11, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born April 21, 1931 to Willie Henry McClellan and Minnie Grace (Darland) McClellan in McKinney. James married the love of his life, Billie Jean McClellan on December 2, 1950. He enjoyed telling humorous stories and watching old western movies. James was a life time member of Southside Assembly of God Church in McKinney where he volunteered at their thrift store for many years. He was defined by his family as a hardworking husband and father who loved his family dearly. James is survived by his children, Bruce McClellan and wife Kellie of McKinney, Sandy McClellan Chilton of McKinney, Steve McClellan of Van Alstyne, Texas, Sharon Littrell and husband Dale of McKinney, Charlotte McClellan Moorehead of Van Alstyne, Mickey McClellan and wife Candy of Van Alstyne, Lisa McClellan Lane and husband Jim of McKinney; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister, Gracie Juanita Marshall and husband and dear friend John; brother, Hulion McClellan; sister, Nancy Johnston. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billi Jean McClellan; grandson, Cayden McClellan; granddaughter, Jaylynn Lane; brothers, Billy McClellan and William Charles McClellan, son in law, Jonathan Chilton.
