Services for Valla B. Foster, 91, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Ford Memorial Chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev. D.L. Lowrie officiating. The Rev. John Ballard will assist. Burial will be in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home. She died Friday, March 13, 1998. She was born Sept. 18, 1906, in Borden County. She moved to Lubbock in 1923. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Good News Sunday School Class. She was a salesperson at Gambill's Variety Store. Survivors include a sister, Ruth Carter of Winnsboro.
