The Indianapolis News Tuesday, August 1, 1989 "Jack George Houska, 88, Indianapolis, died Monday in Americana North Healthcare Center. He was the first service station employee for the former Gasteteria Oil Co. and later was president of the firm's credit union. He retired 28 years ago. He was a member of Indianapolis Senior Citizens Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Survivors- wife Bertha Wells Houska; daughters Jackie Barnes, JoAnne Delks, Patricia Shinkle; brother Frank Houska; sister Ann Vavra; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren."
