Bio

Tiffin Young Tiffin Young, age 92, of Wellington, died Wednesday, January 25,1995 in Amarillo. Services were held at 3:30 pm Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev Johnny Tims, pastor, officiating. Burial was in South Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mr Young was born in Harriman, TN. He married Gladys Cothrun in 1927 at Paducah. They moved from Chidress to Loco in 1942 and came to Wellington in 1962. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Helen Crowder of Fort Worth and Treva Fike of Amarillo; two sons, W T Young and Glen Young, both of Corpus Christi; a sister, Inus Hardin of Childress; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Wellington Cemetery Association or to a favorite charity. The Wellington Leader Thursday, Feb 2, 1995
