Carole Ledet, 54, a native of Pleasanton, Texas, and resident of Thibodaux, died at 1:30 p.m. April 4, 2004. Visitation will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Karl Ledet; daughters, Lara Bellanger and Rae Rachel Ledet; son-in-law Billy Bellanger; mother, Cecilia McDonald of Pleasonton, Texas; sisters, Kathleen McDonald of Slidell, Judy McDonald Foster of Abilene, Texas, Nanc McDonald Corbin of San Francisco, Trisha McDonald Holt of Arlington, Texas, Renee McDonald Haynes of San Antonio, Texas; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Ledet; brothers and sisters-in- law, Beryl Ledet Dupont, Kevin Ledet, Dennis and Lynn Bayhi and Jeff and Lyddy Lindley; 24 nieces and nephews; and a loving cousin, Rachel Highsmith and her husband David.
