This obituary provided by Findagrave members Rita & Lee Gordon: Flint Journal, The (MI) - March 9, 1999 Deceased Name: LAVIOLETTE LAVIOLETTE, Ida - Of Davison, age 61, died Saturday, March 6, 1999 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11AM on Wednesday, March 10, 1999 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Pastor Michael Durben officiating. Burial at Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Laviolette will lie in state at the funeral home where the family will receive visitors from 10AM-9PM on Tuesday. Contributions may be made to American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mrs. Laviolette was born in Weir , Mississippi on September 29, 1937, the daughter of George and Virginia (Sartor) Gibson. She resided in the Flint and Davison areas most of her life. Ida married Eugene Laviolette on December 23, 1961 in Flint, MI. Mrs. Laviolette was a Registered Nurse at Lapeer Hospital, Genesee Memorial Hospital and Genesee County Sheriff Department. She is survived by: husband, Eugene; daughter, Lisa K. Coburn of Davison; three sons, Scott Laviolette of Davison; Michael Laviolette of Lake Orion, MI, Richard Laviolette of Pontiac, MI; four grandchildren, Nicole and Nicholas Coburn, Alicia and Nathan Laviolette; two brothers, Woodie Sartor of Davison, George Gibson, Jr. of Saginaw; sister, Claudia Brown of Flint; niece and nephews.
