M. Kuder, the 8th, inst., at half past five o'clock a.m., cause of death; old age, a general and sudden relaxation of the whole system. She lived to a good ripe old age, was eighty years old February 18th last. She was a firm member and believer in the Methodist doctrine, often was she was found in earnest prayer both day and night, whilst many of us were found in earnest sinning against our God. Her funeral was preached by the Rev. Mr. Davis, at Mr. Kuder's on the 9th inst., at eleven o'clock, a.m. and the body was interred at one o'clock p.m. She was a good and faithful servant, and she leaves this world of sin and sorrow with many good and honest friends to mourn her loss. May 9, 1882. Champaign County Herald Wednesday May 10, 1882 page 5 Mayview – Grandma Dresback, as she has been known for years, died last Monday morning, at I. Kuder's, south of here. She has been a member of the M. E. church for a great number of years, and was a consistent Christian beloved by all who knew her. She died of old age, being 82 years old.
