Bio

Fay Allison, 79, a former resident of Wheatland, died December 3, 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born February 6, 1932, in Bedford County, Pennsylvania the daughter of George and Bessie Ash. She was the youngest of seven children. Upon graduating high school, Fay visited Wyoming and stayed. She married Dr. James G. Allison on December 21, 1956. Fay was a member of the Wheatland Country Club for many years. She was an avid reader, traveler, and shopper. Fay is survived by her son, John (Michelle) Allison and grandchildren, Emily, Sophie, and Carter, all of Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Allison on May 6, 1978, and daughter, Garnette on May 31, 1966. Arrangements are under the direction of Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland.
