HANKAMER (Spl) - Funeral services for Hayes Albritton, 70, of Hankamer will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Hankamer Union Church. The Rev. L.C. Roots and the Rev. Billie Dale will officiate. Burial will be in Anahuac city Cemetery under direction of Sterling Funeral Home of Anahuac. Pallbearers will be Alva Harmon, Bert Harbour, Nathan Laughlin, Chalres Case, Ira Turner and Donald Eitel. Albritton died at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the family home suffering an apparent heart attack. He was a lifelong resident of Hankamer where he was a member, deacon and trustee of the Hankamer Union Church. He was a retired self-employed carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Addie D. Albritton; two sons, Elbert L. Albritton of Baytown and Allen H. Albritton of Beaumont; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie F. Green of Baytown; two brothers, Jessie and Edgar Albritton, both of Odessa; four sisters; Mrs. Eula Weaver and Mrs. Etta Belle Stengler, both of Hankamer, Mrs. Ethel Youngblood of Colmesnell and Mrs. Lennis Wiggins of Houston and five grandchildren.
