Bio

Funeral services for Herbert Hoover Tumlinson, who died on Monday in a Corpus Christi hospital following a long illness, will be held on Wednesday, November 18, at 10 a.m., at a colonial Langham Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronnie Watson of West Heights Baptist Church will officiate. A service will be held at 3 p.m. at the Harwood Baptist Church, and interment will follow in the Harwood cemetery. Mr. Tumlinson was born on December 1, 1931, in Harwood, and worked as a motion picture operator until his retirement. [Obituary-Gonzales Inquirer, November 19, 1997.]
