Bio

Mary Conklin Russell, 70, of Idaho Falls, died March 13, 1998, at Columbia Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct 29 1927 in Washington DC to Harry and Lillie Shirley Conklin. She grew up and attended schools in the eastern part of the United States. She came to Idaho Falls in the 1960s. On April 14, 1967, she married Norman W. Russell in Butte, Montana. They made their home in Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and worked in various restaurants in the Idaho Falls area. Mr. Russell died August 7, 1994. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, canning and playing pinochle. Survivors include 5 stepchildren [names deleted], 8 step-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Colonial Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. (Post Register, Idaho Falls; obit courtesy MTM )
