The Ulysses Dispatch , January 18, 1911, p. 3, col. 4 Died, at Ulysses, Nebr., on Wed., Jan. 11th, 1911, of tuberculosis, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Bradley, William Bradley, aged 21 yrs. 4 mo. and 8 days, leaving a father, mother, 4 sisters and 3 brothers to mourn their loss. Willie was born in Seward county, Nebr. on Sept. 19, 1889, and had the beautiful characteristic of always seeing the bright side of life. It is with mingled sorrow and regret, the writer notes the passing of this young life as the future lay before him filled with hopes of many cherished plans. Deceased enjoyed good health until two years ago when alarming symptoms developed, and it was hoped a change of climate would prove beneficial; however, after his return home a few months ago he rallied, but only temporarily, and during the past few weeks had been a patient but cheerful sufferer, enjoying to the utmost the frequent visits of his many friends both young and old, who hoped against hope that he might be restored to his former health and strength, but it was not to be. His grief stricken relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their great sorrow. A profusion of beautiful floral offerings lay upon the casket Friday morning, Jan. 13th, when the funeral services were held at the Ulysses Catholic church, the Rev. Father Murphy officiating, after which interment was made in the Catholic cemetery near Ulysses. "Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and may light perpetual shine upon him." E.B.L. _____ Card of Thanks - We extend sincere thanks to our friends for their kindness, sympathy and floral offerings during our bereavement. Mr. and Mrs. A. Bradley & Children.
