Bio
Son of Frank & Lucy (Gans) Leimser. He received his education at rural Polk County Schools. On June 21, 1944 he married Viola Lueke in rural Columbus. They farmed and raised livestock in Polk County for many years. Clarence served on the District 16 school board for several years and was on the redistricting board. Clarence was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he had served on the church council and was an usher for 40 years. He was also a member of the Eagles. They moved to Columbus in 1982. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church. Clarence is survived by: Wife - Viola Leimser of Columbus, NE Son - Ron (Susan) Leimser of Columbus, NE Daughter - Joyce (Merle) Johannes of Columbus, NE Daughter - Sharon (Arlyn) Johannes of Columbus, NE Grandson - Jeff (Shanda) Johannes Grandson - Todd (Jeni) Johannes Grandson - Brian Johannes Grandson - Aaron Leimser Granddaughter - Kristy (Nick) Johannes Hansen Granddaughter - Sarah Leimser Clarence was preceded in death by: Parents - Frank and Lucy (Gans) Leimser Brother - Lawrence Leimser Sister - Laura Adkisson Sister- Margaret Louis 2 infant sisters
