From the Lincoln Journal Star: Louis J. Kadavy, 87, of Milford, passed away January 28, 2017. Born April 10, 1929, Lou grew up in the Seward area and attended Leahey School. He served in the U.S. Navy in Guam during WW II. On January 27, 1951, he was united in marriage to Betty Louise Bargman in Greenfield, Iowa. Lou was a mason and home building contractor. His hobbies included antique car collecting and restoring, attending auctions, exploring different areas and ghost towns. Survivors: his children, Nancy (Bryan) Roberts Sweet, Jane Parkhurst, John Kadavy, Dan Kadavy, Frank (Cheryl) Kadavy, Tom (Millie) Kadavy, and Anne Pfeifer, 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Foral, sisters-in-law Millie Lance, LaVerne (Bob) Hyde, and Delores Wilke.
