Parents: Father: John M Jasper Mother: Mary Etta Cole Spouse: Dewey Stredder Nell Stredder Rosie "Nell" Jasper Stredder, 96, of Caldwell, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998. Nell was born April 17, 1902, at Roseberry, Idaho, to John and Mary Jasper. She married Dewey Stredder on Dec. 18, 1920, at McCall. They lived in Long Valley and Meadows Valley until 1950, when they moved to Caldwell, where they owned a farm. She is survived by a sister, Clara Wallace of Spokane, Wash.; a daughter, Myra Mann of North Carolina; son-in-law, James M. Dixon Jr. of Caldwell; daughter-in-law, Velma Stredder Gipe of Caldwell; nine grandchildren, James D. Dixon of Seward, Alaska, Lawrence E. Dixon and wife, Sharon of Caldwell, Monte Stredder of Caldwell, Cindy Mount of Boise, Pat, Elizabeth, John, Becky and Leslie of Oklahoma; 19 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was loved dearly by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey; a daughter, Myrtle; a son, Glenn; five sisters, Cynthia, Jenny, Lucy, Gladys, Mary; six brothers, George, Mark, Frank, John, Andrew and Willy: one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Burial services will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Caldwell. Friends may call today from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
