Susie B. Agee was seven when her mother Margaret died in 1866. Her father John Agee remarried and had several other children. Ref: "Chilldren of Elizabeth B. Hodbge and Lite T. Morris" by Hanes & Jones Susie married John P. Clay in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas on October 9, 1881.
