Bio

Son of Frank D. Sr. & Rosie (Wasko) Jelinek. He attended District #30 School in rural Clarkson. On May 10, 1944 he was united in marriage to Mildred A. Kozisek in Schuyler, Nebraska. The couple farmed and were quite involved in the cattle business, including raising Pinzgauer cattle on a farm south of Clarkson, Nebraska until 1975. In 1975 they moved to Columbus and Frank went to work for Fleischer Manufacturing in the sub-assembly department. From 1980 - 1998 he worked part-time at the Columbus Sales Pavillion. He loved gardening and raised two large gardens for many years. He enjoyed listening to the radio especially to Czech music programs, farm market and weather reports. He is survived by: Daughter: Carolyn (Darrell) Dillenburg of Irving, TX Son: James Jelinek of Columbus, NE Granddaughter: Dana Dillenburg of Arlington, TX He was preceded by: Wife: Mildred A.
