Bio

Mildred P. Eaton, 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in Irving, Texas. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Las Colinas, Irving. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 1, at the church. Mildred Louise was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to the late William T. Price and Etta (Creamer) Price. She moved to Irving in 1966 where she worked as a cafeteria worker with Irving ISD for many years. She worked along side her husband, Rev. Joe Eaton, in his ministry at First Baptist Church of Las Colinas. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 67 years, Rev. Joe Eaton. She is survived by her son, Bill Eaton and wife, Jan, of Phoenix, Arizonia; daughters, Jeanne Gatlin and husband, Doyle, of Roanoke, Texas, Delores Green and husband, Ed, of Argyle, Texas, and Diane Shigeta, of Grapevine, Texas; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lula Mae Heart, of Mesquite, Texas; and many other relatives and numerous friends.
