Bio
Joseph Louis, age 87, passed away March 19, 2008. Joe was born on April 18, 1920, in Prague, OK. He was the son of Louis Wesley and Mary Agnes (Ruzicka) Brezny, and had one brother, Edward Wesley Brezny. All have preceded him in death. Joe married Bobbye Christina Clark of Graham, TX. The wedding took place at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague, OK on Aug. 9, 1952. Joe served in the US Army in the European Theater during WWII. Joe was a member of the 612 Ordinance Battalion and was in service from 1942-1946. Following his discharge, he worked in the oil industry in both Texas and Oklahoma. Joe retired after 31 years in 1985, serving as Executive Account Representative for the Mid-Continent Region, with McCullough Tool Company/NL Industries, Inc. Joe was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and most recently St. James Catholic Church. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Bobbye one daughter, Vicki Jolynn McLoon, her husband, Daniel, their sons, Matthew and Andrew, of Holmby Hills, CA. He is also survived by one son, Richard Joseph Brezny, his wife, Kay and their sons, Clark and Christopher of OKC. Also surviving are sister-in-law, Mary Brezny, and one niece, Shirley Brezny, of Prague and one nephew, Edward Joe Brezny, and his wife, Barbara of Tecumseh, as well as other relatives and a host of friends. Joe's wonderful zest for life and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Catholic Charities, 1501 N. Classen Blvd. Prayer service will be 7:00 PM, Monday, at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel. Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, at St. James Catholic Church.
