GRASSLAND — Services for Edna Davis, 92, of Fort Worth will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Grassland Nazarene Community Church with Greg White officiating. Burial will be in Grassland Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home of Tahoka. She died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001. She was born Aug. 9, 1909, in Timpson, where she graduated from school and married Leroy Davis on Jan. 29, 1938. He died Nov. 10, 1988. She attended Stephen F. Austin and North Texas State universities. She moved to Grassland from Shelby County in 1938. She was a homemaker and a teacher. Survivors include two daughters, Dixie Davis Miller of Weatherford and Lynda Davis Gibson of Lubbock; a sister, Maudelle Hudson of Dallas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Grassland Cemetery, American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
