Andrew Jackson Harriger was born in Clarion County, Pennsylvania on July 24, 1843 and died on July 14, 1924 in Shippenville, Clarion Co., from toxemia due to bowel issues. He was a son of two Clarion County natives, George and Margaret Bighley Harriger. He was a farmer and married at his death. He was buried in Shippenville on July 16, 1924. Harriger, one of Clarion County’s aged and esteemed residents, died at his home at Shippenville on Monday. He was 81 years of age and had spent most of his life as a farmer, settling in Shippenville just recently. He is survived by his wife and the following children: George M., of Clarion; John W. of Sigel; Clark M. of Warren, Pa., Frank W. of Pawhuska, Okla.; Mrs. Guy Wingard and Mrs. L. W.
