Daughter of Elbert R. & Tracy (Webster) Winslow. She graduated from Gibbon High School in 1928. She played piano for silent movies and dances in Gibbon. while in Gibbon she also played in a dance orchestra called the Dreamland Entertainers. Doris worked for the Nebraska Continental Telephone Company in Kearney until being transferred to Columbus in 1932. She married William Gregorius, Jr. on June 30, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska. They lived in various cities in Nebraska until moving to Columbus in the late 1940's. Doris worked at the city water office and city clerk office. She also worked for the Platte County Fair as the office manager for 35 years and bookeeper for 40 years. The 1984 Fair Book was dedicated to her for her years of service. She was inducted into the Platte County Agricultural Society Hall of Fame. Doris was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Hospital Auxiliary where she did volunteer work. She is survived by: Son: Jim (Janice) Gregorius of St. George, UT Daughter: Betty (Jerry) Siemek of Fremont, NE Daughter: Joan (Dick) Tooley of Columbus, NE Sister: Verda Hackett of Minneapolis, MN Sister: Dema Taylor of Bloomington, MN 12 Grandchildren 22 Great Grandchildren She was preceded by: Husband: William J.
