Eva Othean Marshall Jezek, 89, of Temple, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, Temple. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, Temple. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Eva Othean was born in Bell County, Texas, to the late Wesly Robert and Verde May Garrison Marshall. She married Walter Laudis Jezek on November 29, 1943 and were married 62 years. Eva and Walter lived in Taylor, TX, Little River/Academy, TX, and eventually retired to Temple, TX. They had one son, Joe Lynn Jezek, of Taylor, who preceded them in death in August of 1998. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Sara Jezek, of Taylor; grandchildren, Scott Ryan Jezek and wife, Heather, of Round Rock, and Tracy Lynn Jezek White and husband, Tim, of Round Rock; great-grandchildren, Dylan Cash White and Jayden Lynn White; sister, O'Dean "Dean" Richter, of Temple; brother, Marvin Floyd Marshall, of Hearn; nephews, Kirby Richter, of Temple, Larry Richter and wife, Gracie, of Kerrville, and Leon Jezek, Jr., of Temple; and niece, Margie Niekamp, of Temple.
