O. L. Tripp, Former Creighton Man, Dies In Hospital At Wayne Osten L. Tripp, a former Creighton man, died at a Wayne hospital Sunday, following a twelve day illness. Mr. Tripp was born on a farm in Ohio, March 11, 1855 and died at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 7 days. Prior to 1913, he with his wife located in Nebraska and lived on farms in Knox and Antelope counties, until his retirement several years ago. In 1897, Mr. Tripp was united in marriage to Rachael Jane Lee of Morris county, Kansas. She preceded him in death in 1934 at Paxton, Nebr. The last years of his life he lived alone and with relatives. Relatives left to mourn his passing are three sons, Harry, Paxton, Nebr., Frank, Fort Worth, Texas and Freeman , address unknown. The remains were brought to Creighton on Sunday evening by Hengstler & Son, morticians, and funeral services were held on Tuesday morning from their Chapel at 10:30. Rev. Basil Anderson, pastor of the Federated church, conducted the services. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.
