Reburial Service At Lindsay Friday For Sgt. Kupper Sgt. Micheal J. Kupper, who fought with the Third Armored Division in Europe and was taken prisoner of the Nazis in the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944, only to die in a prison camp in February of 1945, will be reburied in the soil of his youth Friday morning at 9 o'clock at Lindsay, near Gainesville. He was the son of Joe Kupper of Gainesville. Sgt. Kupper was the brother of Andrew J. Kupper of Kaufman, himself a veteran of the European Theatre, World War II. Three other brothers and two sisters are other survivors. Sgt. Kupper was born in 1908 at Lindsay and had lived in that vicinity all of his life before entering service. Military rites will be held in tribute to Sgt. Kupper. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Kupper and their son, Andy, of Kaufman, left Wednesday morning to attend the service.
