Merle Miller (92141406) Suggested edit: Photo of Mr. Miller was originally shared by tmiller1051 on 11 Aug 2015 Contributor: minpar (47548440) Co. F 9 Tn Cav Union Army "Moses Miller married 29 Jan 1885, in Jefferson County, TN, to Mary A. S. Ketner" TN Marriage Records, 1780-2002. The Marriage License is dated 28 Jan 1885. Merle Moses Miller had been married to Catherine Parrott (1862-1888; FindAGrave: 92142126.) She was the mother of Moses Miller's 8 children. (Their youngest daughter, Tina Susan Miller Hyde was born Aug 1880, according to the 1900 census, not 1884. Catherine Parrot Miller's death is only documented on her gravestone: "Jan 21, 1888." I suggest that perhaps that date is not correct, that she actually died a few years earlier; I doubt that Moses Miller would have married again before his first wife's death. He is listed as "married," but his wife Mary Ann is not found in this census. Daughter Tina Susan Miller was living with him. When Moses Miller died 25 Feb 1924, his obituary stated that he had been "married twice." Mary Ann S. Ketner Miller died 28 Mar 1902, according to her gravestone. She was buried in the same cemetery as her husband would be, over 20 years later.
