Minerva J. Hunter married Marion H. Wood on January 1, 1880, in Wapello County, Iowa. Minerva (Hunter) Wood married John Hayes on July 7, 1898, in Washington, Iowa. A copy of Minerva's estate, which was probated in Wapello County, Iowa, may be seen in ancestry.com. Quoting from the Final Report of the Administrator: "That the decedent left surviving her husband, John Hayes, Franklin hayes [sic], and Maud E. Wood, the last two being children and sole heirs at law of said decedent." --------------- M. J.
