Bio

Kenneth L. Ellis, 59, of Meyersdale, died June 14, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born December 31, 1952 in West Lake, Louisiana, the son of the late Sidney and Oreal (Mahaffey) Ellis. Also preceded in death by son, Allen Tracy Belcher; and brothers: Frank and John Ellis. Survived by his wife, the former Barbara Hummel; children: Chad Ellis, Sulphur, LA; Frank Belcher and wife Melanie, Berlin; and Dawn Bonner and husband Larry, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; Also survived by sisters: Patsy Hunt and husband Kenneth, Lake Charles, LA and Jane Vantuinen and husband Roger, Highland, CA; and 6 nieces and nephews. He attended high school in Lima, OH and was a welder for Keystone Lime. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday. Rev. Robert Stahl officiating. Interment St. Paul's Wilhelm Cemetery.
