The Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, August 4, 1960, Page 4, Column 1: North Loup: Services Here Today for I.A. Manchester Funeral services for I. A. (Verd) Manchester will be held today at 2 pm from the North Loup Methodist church. Mr. Manchester, for many years a North Loup resident, left here about twenty years ago and has since resided in Glendale, Calif. He would have been 96 years of age in September. His son, Reeve, is coming to North Loup with the body. Mr. Manchester died Sunday in Los Angeles in a hospital. He was grandfather of Mrs. Dale Mulligan and an uncle of Leo Bell. Two other son, Robert of California and Donald, White Plains, N.Y., also survive.
