Greer, 81, of 4314 Worth, a Dallas resident for 40 years, will be held at 1 p. m. Monday at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 300 West Davis, with the Rev. W. H. Koenig officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Greer died Saturday night in a Dallas hospital after a long illness. A native of Greenville, he was a retired utilities construction supervisor. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors are his wife; two sons, William A. Greer and Jim W. Greer of Dallas; four daughters, Mrs. Terry Witte, Mrs. Jack M. Lewis, and Mrs. Charles E. Gross of Dallas and Mrs. Don Craig of San Francisco, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wesley Greer, Herman Greer, Leon Greer, Harold Herman, George A. Herman, and Jim Whitaker.
